I would like to replace the existing 12v battery with a 6v system. My question for the group is about weight distribution. Will adding four 6v batteries to the battery compartment be to much weight for that one side of the 5th wheel?

Adding an extra 140lbs in the storage area with 2 extra batteries will have no effect at all

Heck no, I had a 300 lb generator on the other side of the compartment and other than adding to my pin weight, it didn't change the tow characteristics at all. 🙂
