We had a string break in one of the shades beside the couch. Deb didn't think about just restringing, and just cut it off about armrest high on the couch. Now I need to buy a new one. Does anyone know the particulars on this shades? Manufacturer? Names of the colors? Where to purchase? I looked at Trekwood's site, but didn't see any shades listed. 2012 36RL btw

We had a string break on shades in our last trailer........found this place near us who restrung it for a song. Worth considering if you're close to Salem OR.

I would have restrung the one we have myself, but as I said above, my wife cut over half of it off

Not sure the name, but there's an online site that sells the kit to restring them, instructions & string included.

One more time, I can't restring it. My wife cut the shade in half. I need a new shade. The problem with visiting the online stores are they have 43 different shades of tan in 7 material choices,( I know, a bit of exaggeration there) but I want to get the right one the first time. Hence, my asking for oem and their name of the hue.

Sorry! Misunderstood!
Thought she'd just cut the string!!
If it were me I'd take this opportunity to upgrade to the day/night roll up shades (pardon the pun) they are day & night much better than the pleated shades & no more broken strings.
Check out Irvine Shade online, they may have the pleated ones also, that's where the roll up ones on mine were from.

Your idea about the roll up shades may be the thing to do. I'm thinking she may want to take down what's there, valances and all, then put up s&b drapes/curtains.

I just left Irvine shade and door , I had two broken mounting bracket due to the rough roads this time of year. ( at Morryde getting IS installed not vacation) the Duel binds are what my redwood came with from the factory. Irvine warrenty the mounting clips no questions asked. I didn't even have the clip with me and I guessed at what style I had ( mounting clip #5 ) is what I guessed and they gave me 5 and I thanked then and walked out IN SHOCK, what just happened . Then never asked how old it was, what I needed them for , Just great customer service!
