Regional Rallies 2016

CrossRoads/Redwood is proud to announce the dates and places for the 2016 CrossRoads/Redwood Regional Rallies!

These Rallies are organized by Terry “The Texas RV Professor” and Lady Evada Cooper, Rob and Sue Rees and Jay Cauble, in conjunction with CrossRoads and Redwood factories as a chance to fellowship with owners from all corners of the USA and Canada. Ooops...

Unfortunately, unless you arrive early, the Texas Redwood Regional Rally dates will not coincide with Cantons Trades Days...

March 3-5, 2016 (Thu, Fri, Sat)

http://firstmondaycanton.com/first-monday-trade-days

The last time we attended this flea market, it took 3 days to get through it all.

Alas, at least this time, we won't be able to drag tons of stuff home that we have no where to store. BUT IT IS FUN TO LOOK!!!

As for the resort, you can get a sneak-peak here:

If you get a chance to run to town square:

Good point about the Canton First Monday. Should anyone want to attend part or all of the First Monday event which is 4 days, you will need to make campground reservations for that quickly. The cost per night is considerably higher since lots of folks come in just for that event.

We hope that the owners would like to participate in this first Regional Rally ... and as the registration page opens soon, please sign up.

That's only 2 hours from our house and the kids are out for Spring Break! We'll probably see about getting there the weekend before to visit the Trades Days...

I just hope that we're not all buried in 4' of snow thanks in part to El Nino!

Looking forward to attending this year's rally. Had a great overall experience at the 2015 rally. I am hoping DW business travel will allow her time to attend as last year business plans changed at the last moment and she missed the great technical seminars, plant tour and the nearby Amish stores. We plan to book for two weeks so we can visit all the surrounding areas.

Hi everyone!

This is a reminder that the Regional Rally registration page is now open. With Texas being our first rally.... it is really important for those of you who are interested in coming to Mill Creek RV Resort to go ahead and sign up if you can. Our deadline to give back the unused portion of sites is rapidly approaching (which is 30 days before we arrive) This doesn't mean that you can't try to sign up after the 30 day deadline....but it does mean there is a possibility the resort may be fully booked by the time you do sign up. So please.... if you are considering coming....do so in a timely manner.

If you have any questions, please let me know.

Good Morning LadyEcooper,

Did we ever get a final count on those attending (pre-registered) this Canton, TX rally?

Redwood?

Crossroads?

Today we have 4 Redwoods signed up for the pre-rally maintenance class. No Crossroads units.
We now have a total of 10 rigs for the main Rally (all Redwoods). We had one cancel a few days ago.
I have received word a few more could be registering soon....so the numbers could rise. I have hope!! 🙂

Tomorrow's the big day for those attending the Canton, Texas rally...

For those that may already be there, how are you fairing out with the weather? Looks like Thursday afternoon and Friday day may offer some relief. Saturday and Sunday look fantastic. Are we missing anything yet?

Things are a little wet...around 4-5" of rain. The facilities are VERY nice. Super clean facilities, nice cement pads with beautiful green grass! Five of us are taking the RV Maintenance course. Pretty much covering all the different systems on our coaches. The instructor is extremely knowledgeable and thorough. I highly recommend folks sign up for the training if you are able to attend any of the upcoming Rallies. Looking forward to our remaining training, and the start of the Rally! The weather is supposed to be improving toward the end of week!

Your weather report is much more optimistic than the NWS. I dread driving from Johnson City to Canton with a 70-80 percent chance of rain and TSs.
