A bad day camping is better than any great day at work. Right?!

See you there!

Well, we had a soggy start to the 2016 Texas Rally; but it did not dampen our spirits at all. Starting with the Dessert Meet and Greet, where fellow RW owners introduced themselves and chatted the night away.

Friday was full of seminars and opportunities to learn from each other.

The TX RV Professor - Terry Cooper gave a seminar on "The Amazing RV Refrigerator" and later on in the afternoon (after a lunch break at a local eatery which was delicious, by the way!), Ron Russell (Titan Guy) gave a seminar on the "History of Disc Brakes" and their benefits, followed by Evada Cooper (Lady E) and her seminar on the RV kitchen. We found out how NOT to trip circuit breakers by turning on hairdryers, microwaves and coffeemakers while running the a/c in the TX heat.

Later that evening, there was a smorgasbord of dishes for everyone to try for the Potluck Dinner, and the discussions and chats continued through the evening.

Saturday we were able to sleep in before our next seminar by Terry on "Volts?, Amps? and Purple Monkeys? Watts does it all mean?". Purple Monkeys???!!! Yep. See all the fun you are missing?!

We then had a catered lunch courtesy of Redwood, and also a visit from Redwoods' corporate team member and the local Redwood Dealership, where they answered questions on an individual level to those in attendance.

Ron Russell again educated us on a talk about "tire safety and how to fix your trailer tire problems". The guys had their ears to the rubber during the talk. 😛

Later tonight, another potluck dinner and a chance to deepen the friendships that we've already made. Everyone is going to walk away with great memories and the knowledge that we made history by being the 1st group to participate in a Redwood Regional Rally. It's not even over and we're already looking forward to next years' event!

For those unable to attend this year's regional rally...

We all had a great time and the seminars were fantastic. So much to learn!

Many thanks go out to the Coopers (Terry and Lady E), Ron (Titan Guy), Steve Anderson (President of WorkKamper News), Nino with Redwood, and to Mill Creek Resort for allowing us to stay in such a fine complex.

And another thanks goes out to Norm (WorkKamper at Mills Creek Resort) for sharing his personal WorkKamping experiences.

And finally, yet another thank you to all those who support ROG. Without you, this would not be possible. This is what makes owning a Redwood awesome!

We also want to thank Redwood for their support of this organization and rallies!

We look forward to many more years of meeting new friends and sharing experiences with everyone. What a great community of Owners!

Many Blessings to All!
