My 2019 340RL Trekwood cord won't rewind. I hear the motor when I engage the switch. I was told i need a new rewind unit. Has anyone else dealt with this issue?

I have a 2018 Redwood and had similar issues with my power cord reel in 2020 (just after my warranty ended thank you very much!). I was able to track down the original manufacturer and get advice and parts from them. The manufacturer is Shoreline Reels (SLR) a division of Southwire. Their phone number is 1 800 780 4324 extension 20311 for Technical Assistance. Not sure that Redwood is still using the same manufacturer but the "SLR" sure seems the same.
They were able to diagnose my problem as a broken clutch mechanism and sold me a new and improved (my clutch teeth were plastic, the new ones are metal, at least in 2020) for about $100. It might be more now but a lot less than a whole new reel. Give them a try.
