Are there grocery stores near Shipshewanna. We are coming from Canada and we are limited in what we can cross the border with.

If you want just an item or two, there are one or two in Shipshewanna. Anything more, we went about 15 miles NE into Sturgis, MI, either to Wally world or Meijer.

Brian - suggest checking online for the latest restrictions. We are only 20 miles from the border, so when heading down the West Coast we have nothing other than canned stuff.

However, when across the country we have multiple crossings into the US at Winnipeg, Sault Ste Marie and New Brunswick without issues. From Sault Ste Marie to Shipshewana we stopped at a fruit stand enroute to pick up some fresh fruit.

We have had more questions about the dog food and it is made in US.

For Grocery Stores, if partaking in the craft beer outing, you will find most of the big shops in Goshen.

There are Two Amish discount places, one North and one South of the Campground. They have some pretty good deals on all sorts of food items and produce. You'll see the Hitching area outside both where the Amish Buggys are tied up. Both are open to the public and we've done most of our shopping there and at Yoder's Meat and Cheese store.
