We have a 2012 36RL and it has an issue with returning to the unhook position after auto level. We park, raise the front off the fifth wheel, unhook and auto level. When preparing to leave, we power up the Level Up and simultaneously press the left and right buttons. The system reacts by raising the front about 3-4 inches above the fifth wheel plate. It seems very consistent in its operation so I think it must be a calibration or memory issue. Otherwise, the system works flawlessly, always level within .1" Any ideas? The manual has nothing.
Thanx,
Jim
Might try recalibrating, level manually til you're satified, then turn controller off, press up 10 times, down 10 times & wait til says calibrated or whatever.
Personally we don't use that return feature as it seems to be off also. Also if you do anything besides auto it loses that memory.

My understanding of the system is that if the disconnect position is below the auto-level position then the auto-return is disabled.
Similar to Danny, tried it once, didn't work, so never tried it again.
Yep, we learned that at the Rally last year from the Lippert Techs during their seminar.
The return to hook up position will never go down from current position, guess it is a liability thing, they do not want to be responsible for truck damage.
I actually use the return to hook up position on mine, it works pretty good.
I have used that feature every time I have camped to date, and really enjoy that! It works flawlessly for me

Well Gip.... Not really , I just follow the instructions that came with ??? I never took a tape measure to it , so I really do not know just how close it gets.
I can say that I have un-hooked on all types of terrain , and slopes.. and when it is time to go , I hit the 2 buttons together and it raises the front up , I get in and back under...
The 1 time it did NOT work was when the front was real high , as a matter of fact , it showed as :out of stroke " due to being so high...
