I also can not get front to retract and I am hooked up to tow.  No power to lever system panel to get the gear up.  I do not need to move far so I am thinking I will deal with slides once I am out of the way blocking someone.  Is the leaking hose on the rear cylinder causing low pressure and not allowing the Level Panel to power up?  This all happend when I tried to bring the slides in to get ready to move.  Is there any documents showing how the hydraulic hoses are run and the wiring of said system.  2012 RL 36

The power to the Level Up panel should not be affected by hydraulic leaks. My suggestions: 1) ensure you have a fully charged good battery. That causes most slide and landing gear issues. 2) top off your hydraulic system with one or two quarts of transmission fluid - doesn’t matter which type. With your hydraulic leak, you may not be developing enough pressure for your system to move anything. Last resort, you can attach a power drill to the top of your hydraulic pump to move the system manually. If you’re low on fluid it still won’t develop enough pressure.

There is some good explanation of the system here from Lippert, specifically for Redwoods.  You could also call Lippert Tech Support and they will help troubleshoot. Password for videos are at the top of the link page.

I repaired the hose using field service connector which do not need to be crimped and change the hose to steel braded hose.   I now have an electrical issue.   I can not find any wiring diagrams from Redwood.  The Lippert Diagrams do not show how Redwood wired the slide control and the auto level system to use the same pump.  In fact I can not find any thing on the hydraulic slide electrical wiring.  I changed out the switch and think I either got the wrong switch or I messed up the wiring.  The wire are color coded and would like to see info showing what each colored wire is hooked to.  Lippert is not able to do that.  Is the a I do not see anything on the Owners Page Tech section.

How is your Lippert power issue coming?  Any luck so far getting power?  I was just checking to make sure you are getting worked out.  There are two spots that have a breaker (one in the pump bay and/or one in the battery bay) that run the hydraulic pump on batteries (converter if you are plugged in).  Make sure the battery disconnect knobs are in fact on, battery is over 12 volts, and the black or red lever on either of those two breakers is flat.  (some rigs only have one, some have two).  Good job replacing the line.  I am not that good an hydraulic lines and usually end up getting help ... I just kow to make sure they are bled propperly. 🙂
