We recently had to stay at a site that did not have 50A service. Hooked up using a dog bone. We had no power at any receptacle except the one for the microwave. Thoughts?

That sounds more like a GFCI issue, that's where I'd start. My GFCI recently somehow had an arc inside the plug which disconnected every plug on the load side, except the microwave, they are very cheap plugs.
We are currently staying the remainder of the month with only 30 amp service & no problems.

The GFCI didn't have any power either. Next night with 50A service all was normal.

In that case, I'd be checking that Dog Bone Adapter, maybe it was only feeding one leg of the 50 amp plug.

I have only used 30 amp on my rig and it works great. remember the 30 amp plug has only one hot leg usually the left pin and the right pin is the common white and the there is the neutral ground .
