Does anyone have any suggestions to keep the kitchen area warm during winter months?  My InCommand only shows A/C or fan for HVAC options.

We have a 2020 4001LK and love the floor plan, but agree the heat set up is not the best ...

The way Redwood set up the HVAC, the Kitchen is just a cooling AC, the Living room runs the gas furnace and uses the AC fan to help blow the air, and the bedroom has the electric heat strip on the AC and heats a little too well.

We never run the bedroom heat as we find the furnace heats the living room ok and the bedroom too warm (you'll also find the garage/pass through storage space is a bit too warm as well), but we run the furnace mostly since it is also ducted into the underbelly to keep the pipes and tanks warm in the winter.  We also use the fireplace heater in the living room as it does seem to put out good heat and we have a Vornado space heater that we set on the stovetop to take the edge off in the kitchen.  We have a large dehumidifier in the closet/bathroom that pumps its water out the washer/dryer drain that also creates quite a bit of heat keeping the bathroom warm quite nicely.  I really wish we could swap the AC in the kitchen with the heat tape/heat-pump AC in the bedroom.

**UPDATE**

We had a mobile RV tech come out to diagnose the issue with the heating.  Apparently, the heating pad on the kitchen tank is about 1/4 the size it should be for the size of the tank.  Additionally, the pad was positioned in between the tank and a metal brace.  The pad has a specific warning to not be in contact with metal.  These two issues caused the pad to short out and not keep the tank warm which in turn caused the water to freeze and expand so much that the tank crushed the ductwork leading to the kitchen.  We have our extended warranty company working some of the issues, however, it only covers roughly 20% of the costs related to this.  They recommended we call Crossroads/Redwood to request assistance since the issue originated with the manufacturer.  Let's keep our hopes up that RW will assist with this.  Does anyone have a good contact for them other than the general customer service number?
